Sharon sat out in the autumn jungle with Browny. She had just spent a year at the man's house and hadn't been able to say a thing. It was so HOT there too!

"The desert people are just so different from here! I know so many of them. Tonya was probably my closest friend. And you might think I saw Earl a lot, but I hardly ever saw him at all!" Sharon said to Browny.

Sharon had been called to be a servant in the house of a very rich house. Earl owned so much and as his power increased, he's called many women to be servants in his house. Sharon was one of them, until she escaped. She finally had trained a horse well enough to make a midnight escape to the south jungles where she knew she could find refuge.

"But you're the best friend I've ever had!"

Sharon LOVED having a friend who she knew would never tell any of her deepest secrets, so she told him everything. Browny had heard information that could build up nations and destroy them. Sharon hadn't told anyone else.

It was getting dark and it was hard for Sharon and Browny to continue on the trail. The found an open pasture. Being a horse, Browny had not much problem sleeping under the stars. Sharon still wasn't used to it, but exhausted as she was, managed to find a place without too many rocks.
